Good Morning, Father Jim. I thank and praise God for your safe return and the blessings that He has bestowed upon you and your family. I look forward to hearing more about your journey and what God has in store for you and Ascension. Take care and God Bless. Terrell, Robert, Arthur, and Gary
Father Jim, You are always in my prayers - and praises - as I have so much to be thankful for - by being lead to Ascension. I believe my prayers for you, Debbie, the boys and your family as a whole, have been answered. God protected you and your family on your journeys physically, He brought you back safely to us. He renewed you spiritually and gave you rest. He provided the time and means for you to grow and share as a family and as a husband and wife.. He lead you to a deeper knowledge of His will for your lives and revealed the direction you should take in leading your flock. Just so you know, we (your congregation)have always felt "passion" from your sermons but it is exciting to think that there can actually be more. I could have written earlier but I just felt this was "your" time with so much on your agenda and my understanding of a sabbatical as being a time for your reflection, a hiatus from your work, a time of rest. Who but you would include your shephards? As well, I know (from Monday's in the office) how family time must be very special for you because of the nature of your position as a Priest. Your job description has no hours. So please understand why I did not send messages even though you requested them. We have missed you greatly, but you were covered well by Father Roger who blessed us with his sermons and support. Deacon Debbie gave a wonderful sermon after her vacation as well. Welcome home and God bless you.
Greetings Father Jim. We are looking forward to your return and seeing you and your family on Sunday. I hope that you have had a blessed trip and I look forward to hearing about your experiences and all that God has done for you. Take care and God Bless. Terrell, Robert, Arthur, and Gary Welch
Father Jim, My prayers and thoughts are with you on your sabbatical journey....we miss you at our church, The Rev.Miller is doing a good job. May God bless you and your family...I wish you all a safe trip home. GOD BLESS, Paula Glazer
Good Morning, Father Jim. I pray that your studies have gone and continue to go well. We pray for you and your family daily and want you to continue in your learning of God's plan for you and Ascension. I hope that you enjoy the quality time that you have left with your family. We look forward to hearing about all that God has shown you during this time of refreshing and restoration. Take care and God Bless.
As you start leaving the oasis, I pray that the Spirit will strenghten you as you begin your return to "reality" and that all you have learned may become a part of your being, create a new closeness to your family and to your Ascension family. Much love.
Hey Fr. Jim, Just checking in to see how things are going. Glad your vacation in Arizona went well. Sounds like good, refreshing, fun times! Sounds like the time at Sewannee was challenging, but good. I'm amazed that one can accomplish so much in such a short time! I'd imaging that my brain cells would be fried to a crisp! Hope you are enjoying more time with Jim and Mike and Debbie and finding time to relax these days! We're enjoying our trip... esp time in the Adirondacks! August is coming soon!
Ok. I will say it. I am really looking forward to you coming back. You so much desearve this sabbatical. Your family needs it too. But I will be glad when you are back. Enjoy the balance.
